Conducted by Joey Diokno with Bon Kian Lim & Totoy Catibog.

We have finalized the arrangements and venue for our 40th Year Grand Reunion on December 10-12, 2010, which we will hold in Calapan City. We have also agreed on the following schedule of activities during that last meeting we had with a number of our classmates present:

Registration starts at 9:30 a.m.. We will have lunch, with lechon provided by El Pueblo Rizort and paid by us. We will also have merienda. This day is reserved just for socials for all of us to again get acquainted with each other. If there is anything else you want do on this day, let’s just do it spontaneously. By the way, upon registration each one will be provided souvenir t-shirt and cap, with logo of course, which we will wear the following day during our motorcade and reunion proper at El Pueblo Rizort.

 December 11, 2010 ( Saturday ) :    Reunion Proper

                              Venue           :     El Pueblo Rizort

Address        :     Mahal na Pangalan, Calapan
( Further ahead of Tibag going to Wawa )

We will start the day with a mass at 8:00 a.m. at the Sto. Nino Cathedral. After the mass, we will have a motorcade around the city and proceed to El Pueblo Rizort. We want to ask everyone to be on time at this assembly place, and for those of our classmates in Calapan who may have cars/jeep or any other type of vehicle available, we are inviting you to bring them to join the motorcade. If needed due to your overwhelming support and attendance, we will hire additional vehicles for the purpose. That’s why it is important to know the numbers ahead. We will decorate the vehicles with balloons and posters of our reunion. Everyone is required to wear our HIA70 Reunion t-shirt and cap.

El Pueblo will be exclusive to us. We will have breakfast, merienda and dinner, again with lechon, there. During the day, or in between or during meals, we will just spontaneously come up with the activity we can do, e.g. Gil Leynes will deliver his famous poem, “ Ang Manok Kong Bulik”. Of course, the resort has facilities we can avail for a fee. Our classmates can do so if we have no other activity together.

The evening is reserved for singing and dancing. We will have 2 male and 2 female dance instructors at everyone’s beck and call for the dancing. We will also have a band/group which will provide music during dinner.

For our classmates who would like to stay overnight at El Pueblo, the resort will reserve some rooms for us. Please indicate to us or send email if you want to do so.

 December 12, 2010 ( Sunday )    :     Last Day of Reunion

                           Venue               :     El Pueblo Rizort

Address           :      Mahal na Pangalan, Calapan

We will have breakfast and continue the fun. We will also have a general assembly to discuss our future plans, if there are, and we will decide on what to do with the excess money, if there will be.
